CSUN ABSN 2014

Is anyone applying to CSUN's ABSN program (2014 cohort)??? I know their application deadline is coming up but the info on their website is out of date and there's no application available on the site. I tried contacting the department via email and phone but no response/answer. Anyone having better luck applying than me?

Are they doing interviews now? I thought this school did not conduct interviews.

At the info session they said they might do them this year. Seems to be so. A friend of mine is in the program now and said they didn't do interviews last year.

Hi there, Interviews...interesting. I suppose the lady that I spoke to in the nursing department didn't realize interviews were conducted this year. She told me over the phone that no interviews.

So those who called in for interviews: How did they contact you? via phone? or email?

I wonder what other days they will be calling! I'm so anxious now! Just curious, what days did they offer you guys to interview? I would like to know what schedule they're on and when we should expect to hear a yes or no. Congratulations to those who got calls today!!

Yes thank you. I just charged my phone and listened to the voice mail!!! I'm so excited and a little apprehensive. WOW I know this is not an acceptance letter yet but I am a little excited because this is the closes I have been in a nursing program.

Does anyone know from previous cohorts how and what kind of questions they might ask?

hi everyone! i am also a little confused... i thought that they weren't doing interviews for this program anymore? my friend who's currently in the fall 2013 cohort didn't have to interview for this program to be accepted...

Happy Valentine's Day! I received a call this morning and they left me a message about interview. I called them back and just made an appointment for the interview on March 5th. I am sure they are still calling because there were more available spots on March 5th and 6th. Good Luck!
