To Draw from CVC or Peripheral Veins? Safety, Risk of infection, avoiding venipuncture complications. Question for the CCU/ICU nurses: Risks/benefits to drawing form the CVC vs Peripheral Venipunctute? Is avoiding another poke to the Client worth the risk of introducing infection to CVC? Accuracy of lab results affected much form CVC draw bc of the flushing, etc? Your thoughts? If you had a loved one in CCU, would you draw from veins or the CVC? Thanks in advance.

Hi there, Interviews...interesting. I suppose the lady that I spoke to in the nursing department didn't realize interviews were conducted this year. She told me over the phone that no interviews. When is the deadline to secure the spot? Hey Annie, I'm not 100% sure but I remember the Director of Admissions saying that we have about 1 week after we've been notified. They might be willing to work with you if you have an issue with that time period. I phoned MSMC and they said they just postal sent the admission notices yesterday...meaning we ought to receive notices in the next several days. For acceptance notices, there will be instructions to follow. HTH.

Dreamer, I am accepted and I don't have any IP classes as of today. I had to send in my last Fall transcript that accounted for 3 courses. However, I'm don't know if that's necessarily goes against you. I would call Agasia and speak to her about that. She seemed to not think it was an issue. HTH

I know that MSMC will postal mail the official "acceptance" letter & further registration & orientation info. Online, under "Admitted Students-Secure your spot", there's a Decision Form and a method to submit your online deposit. I attempted to pay online but it didn't work for me.

Btw, I just checked online...the tuition deposit is $400 and it is non-refundable.

Hi There everyone! I will write more at a latter time. Here's some 411 to share: "We would like to invite you in for an interview with a member of the ABSN faculty commencing the week of January 20th through January 24th. We may have additional days available in the early part of the last week of the month but our focus is to complete the majority of interviews by January 24, 2013. The interview will take approximately 15 minutes." If my memory is correct, they said they'd notify applicants who made it starting in early February. Best to all of you, tangster
