CSULB Nursing Fall 2021

Hi everyone! As CSU applications open up, I wanted to start a thread for all of my fellow pre-nursing students looking to transfer to CSULB!

Yes, those are the only two as far as I know!

I was just thrown off because you called them both supplemental apps, and one of them is the main nursing application everyone has fill out, not supplemental (although I guess unless you consider it supplemental to CalStateApply app LOL)

That's cool that your current college is going to help you double check your application! I felt it was pretty straightforward, but I don't know if the questions differed depending on whether you were Currently and CSULB student, transfer student, or second bachelor student.

Don't forget to send your TEAS score!

Hey everyone!

I submitted the traditional BSN application to csulb (the one due Feb 10th) on Jan 13th, but I never received a confirmation email that I had completed that application. But, for all the other apps like the supplemental app to CSULB and the Cal State Apply app I received confirmation emails that the application was submitted.

Did anyone receive a confirmation for all 3 apps? I thought I submitted the traditional BSN app...but now I am having doubts since I never received confirmation.

Yeah, I recieved a confirmation email for that application. Maybe check your spam and if not there, definitely reach out!

Hi! I did not receive a confirmation email for the school of nursing application. At the end, it just said that my response had been recorded or something like that. I saved it as a PDF incase there were any issues. I've seen people comment in the past that they never received confirmation either so I think we’re okay!

Hey does anyone know if we have to pay an application fee. I submitted my application. But didn't see or read anything saying we had to pay a fee. Which is kinda weird because most other nursing programs have a fee.

You would have applied through CalStateApply first before the deadline in December, and that did have 70 dollar fee.

Hey guys! I’m new to the thread but I was just wondering if more of you can comment your stats please? I’m kind of nervous about mine so I’d really appreciate the feedback!!

my stats:

SCIENCE GPA: 4.0

GE GPA: 4.0

TEAS Composite Score: 85.3%

TEAS Reading Score: 93.6%

TOTAL= 9.578

Welcome! 

I have a 9.57 and it looks like we’re pretty much in the same boat but I’m also super nervous about my score. Folks who shared their score on the Fall 2020 thread and got invited to the comm exercise seemed to have a +9.6 but every applicant pool is different.

Hello, guys just took my TEAS. Feeling defeated but here are my stats.

Science GPA: 4.0

Cumulative GPA: 4.0/2= 2.0

Reading: 1.574

Cumulative: 1.76

Total Score: 9.334

Does anybody know the point cut off last year?
