Hi everyone! As CSU applications open up, I wanted to start a thread for all of my fellow pre-nursing students looking to transfer to CSULB!

Im actually applying for the RN-BSN program for Fall 2021 and was wondering if you guys had any idea how submitting official transcripts is going to work? I cant seem to find any information about a deadline anywhere on their website!
Hi!
So the link to the deadlines for the ADN RN-BSN Program is here:
For your transcripts, I was told by a counselor that usually you don’t submit transcripts until you’re accepted by the school. It might be different for the RN-BSN programs though. For my school, we have a portal to register for classes, pay our fees, ect. and we can send official transcripts there. I would try to contact your counselors to help you find where to do that!
Also I don’t know if you’re applying for the Fall or Spring semester, but in case you’re applying for Fall, Cal State Apply has extended their deadline to Dec. 15th if you still want to apply ?
Best of luck, you got this!

Hey!
Thank you for the response. I already submitted the CSU application, just felt weird since it was a pretty short application ?. I applied for their BSN program 2-3 years ago and they use to require you to send official transcripts to the SON along with your supplemental nursing application.
I know it was asked earlier, but does anyone have any updated info on the possible cutoff score? I saw 9.32 for 2019 but I was wondering if anyone knew anything more recent.
I guess I never took notice that the English 101 class I took over 9 years ago was a C :(. Which dropped my prereq GPA to 3.54. So I didn't think I had a chance!
But I just took the TEAS today and way better than I expected (93.3% overall, 91.5% reading) and it brings me back up to a 9.466/10 (round up to 9.47?)

Congrats on your TEAS! I'm not too sure about the cut-off score myself considering every applicant pool is different, but I think you have a good chance with that score! I'm honestly a little curious if the Covid-19 situation might've affected average scores to be higher or lower compared to previous years.

Thank you!!
I'm super curious as well. I wonder if there's going to be a lot more applicants than usual, and there is already a lot of applicants during Fall compared to Spring anyways. So I'm worried the bar will be higher!

I don't believe CSULB specifically states that information but the latest I would personally take it is two days before February 10th. The ATI website states that score transcripts "are typically sent within 2 hours" after purchasing and I would call into CSULB and ask if they've received my TEAS score!
I'm planning to take the TEAS for the second time in early January as well and a possible third time in February!
