CSULB Nursing Fall 2021

Hi everyone! As CSU applications open up, I wanted to start a thread for all of my fellow pre-nursing students looking to transfer to CSULB! 

@anna78e oh so if we didn’t receive anything then that is their form of rejection they don’t send out any formal letters ?

Hey everybody,

I just wanted to make sure. Y'all didn't receive a response after replying to the SON acceptance email with the attached letter, correct? We just have to wait for orientation for now? Thanks in advance!

No email from them whatsoever since the acceptance letter.

For any pre-nursing students wanting to confirm that their intent to enroll was received and processed by the SON, you can go to myCSULB > Student Center > My Academics > View my academic requirements, and you'll see that your plan has changed from Pre-Nursing to Nursing Basic BS, as shown in the image below:

Hey guys, IDK if it was mentioned before in this thread but do we have to register for classes by June 1st or do we wait until our nursing orientation or do we wait for the SOAR orientation? AHHH so many things going on its confusing T^T

Just so everybody know I think I did bad at the interview yesterday morning. Maybe the admissions are giving me a second chance? I don't know, I am nervous. Please let me know if anyone got an invitation for re-interview session. 

Hi! I applied for Spring 2023 and did the communications exercise this past Wednesday. I got an email inviting me for a re-interview and was wondering if you ended up getting into the program! Also, do you know why they do the second interviews?? I’m so anxious right now because I didn’t think I did too bad during the initial interview…?

Hey everyone, this is one of the nursing programs ill be applying for in Spring 2024. I'd like to hear about your guys' options on the program! How is it going so far? Do you like the program?

I'll also be living in dorms so how's the student life? Are other social or do they just keep to themselves and go home? Are there many activities?
