CSULB Nursing Fall 2021

Hi everyone! As CSU applications open up, I wanted to start a thread for all of my fellow pre-nursing students looking to transfer to CSULB! 

I didn’t get a confirmation email when I applied this was all I saw I’m just worried it never went through or something since it seems like you have all heard back already

yeah I didn't get a confirmation email either so I was worried if they even received my application haha. hopefully we hear back soon

I sent an email to CSULB nursing back in early February and she stated, “Unfortunately, our application does not generate an automatic email confirmation”, so no one receives a confirmation haha. I did email her asking her to confirm that my application was received and it was a couple months ago

There are two ways to create a special area for your cohort, that are Terms-of-Service approved.

One is to create a facebook page.  This link is allowed to be posted.

The other is to create a "Club" within the site, by clicking on the Breakroom link (upper left-hand corner, in the yellow bar) and in the green area, click Start a Breakroom Club.

 Any other references or links postED are not TOS-approved, and will be removed.

Sadly, yes... here's what I think: 

If you were invited to the communication exercise and you haven't heard back, I think that means GG, because acceptance letters for alternates & admission have been sent out to a bunch of people... and CSULB's deadline for intent to enroll is May 1st.

If you weren't invited to the communication exercise, you could still have a chance for admission if your stats are so high that SON didn't think it was necessary for you to be interviewed. Otherwise, I think it's safe to sign your intent to enroll for a different school if you're a transfer.

Hi there! 

I have chosen to commit to CSUF's ABSN program for many reasons but ultimately, I believe that program is a better fit for me. (Their schedule + length of program is ideal for me since I'm a second degree student and I really like the hospitals they have partnered with for clinicals) 

Nonetheless, CSULB is obviously a great program but I personally chose the program that fits best with my future goals. ?

I got a rejection letter from the college itself a while back in March. I knew I was rejected when I wasn't invited to the communication exercise though.
