  1. Same, we don't chart position. We chart insertion site assessment (any redness, covered by dressing, etc), whether or not it's clamped for meds or has feeding going through it, residuals if there is a feeding, patency.
  2. It's very very unlikely that they will verify your GPA. Most hospitals use background checking organizations that at most verify you actually went to the school that you listed with a start and end time, and that you actually got a degree through the school. They aren't going to get your transcript. I would just fix it and bring paper copies with you to the interview. I wouldn't worry too much or point out that you changed it. Focus on killing your potential interview instead!
  3. It was one of the clinical coordinators! I know they haven't sent it out for every unit, because they're still trying to get everyone matched up to preceptors.
  4. I think it varies widely by hospital! St Jude in Fullerton had a Q&A yesterday with the first-week schedule, and I've had preceptors assigned to me with shifts for the first month sent to me through email last night,
  5. I would consider having a third party who is familiar with nursing resumes look over your resume to improve it. If you graduated recently from your public university, they might offer this? Also, I've never put my address on a resume or on an application? If yours is on your resume, I would take the address out completely, leaving only your phone number and email. For your other career experience, cap it at the last 5 to 10 years max, to avoid any ageism bias. Even employee background checks aren't looking further than that. Hope that's helpful!
  6. No! My friend sent an email to the manager, the response was that they will reach out to us soon. I also sent an email to my manager on Thursday, but no response yet.
  7. St Jude is 45 base pay. My friend emailed a recruiter and was told that night shift differential is $6.50, but I haven't confirmed personally.
  8. My friend got an ED offer at St Joe's yesterday, so possibly?
  9. You know, I'm not 100% sure. I assumed it did because mine showed as "not retained", but I still got a phone call with an offer for my second Providence location even after it changed on the application. IDK if I would risk it though! I'd probably email the recruiter and ask for a timeline of when they want a response to their offer. My friend did that and they asked for an accept/decline within a week.
  10. Looks like St Joseph Orange is starting to send out offers. I got a phone call from one of the med-surg managers today.
  11. Thank you! St Jude ICU. I also interviewed at St Joe's (Orange), but I assume when I immediately accepted my St Jude offer and started doing the background check stuff, it pulled me from offers there. Since today that application changed today to "Not retained" but they haven't even started sending offers yet.
  12. I don't think the status changes until a few days or so after you have accepted an offer. I got my official offer and accepted it Friday and it just changed today. My friend got an offer the same day as me but hasn't accepted it yet, and theirs still says under consideration.
  13. ICU! I also know someone else who got ICU as well, and someone who got Stepdown. I haven't heard about any of the other units though.
