Hey everyone so I have been waiting for a couple of years to finally have all of the pre-reqs done to be able to apply to nursing school. I am finally finished and am just waiting for CSULB-elmsn's program which will start in Fall 2011. I want to know who else is planning on applying so we can have each other to go through the process with and I'm not going to lie I would really like to see what the competition is like. Yeah that is what I calculated myself. But there is always that small chance of something going wrong. Nevermind what I said.... I WILL continue to obsessively check my email every hour.

lol....I love it! She said she was on students with the last name of V... so I am guessing that there is a chance she may finish today and send out emails tonight before she leaves at 5.

Hahahaha ames3 you sound like me. I think I'm above 9.1 but then again I could be misguided. Do you live close to the school?

@Malefocker do you know how many students were admitted by chance? And working on last names with V for emails or entering in the system.

Just to let you guys know if you drive over to campus... the off ramp on the 405 north is closed (exit 22)... FRICKEN PAIN IN THE YOU KNOW WHAT.... on the plus side i did get a nice tour of long beach driving around like a crazy person trying to figure out where I was. There is an In and Out about 2 miles from campus!!!! :)

Unfortunately I'm not anywhere close to campus and I'm at work until 5pm. So I'll just have to endure the agonizing wait.

I was showing my husband this website last night and he was getting a kick of how obsessed we all sounded. I'm soooo glad I found this forum! It has definitely helped keep me little sane during this stressful process.

There were 48 students admitted... She told me that she had the list but then she goes in and looks at each individual again making sure all of the stats were correct she said she was on V's... when I asked her if I got in she asked for my last name and then scrolled up since the list was in alphabetical order... Just drive over there!!!! LB is 30 min from my house... well worth the drive believe me

Ames3 - Yeah my wife hates this thread because most of the time when I am home I am on it instead of listening to her!!! :)

Congrats to Malefocker and Ames3. Long time lurker on these forums and I hope to get in as well. My score is fairly higher than the 9.1 cutoff, so I hope to be joining you all.

Thank you Malefocker! That is more than I thought would be admitted :) The list is not to be printed and posted is it? Just email notify? So wishing I would have tagged along today when you went haha

Welcome siberiantiger! I actually don't know if I'm in or not. I was just speculating because of the cutoff score. I'm still waiting for the official email to be sent.

I have this horrible thought in the back of my head that my application could have accidentally fallen into the paper shredder or something.

I've been checking my emails constantly all day today and still no emails!!!! =(. I assume the same goes for everyone else?

Same here tweetychick... The BSN program are getting phone calls today for admittance so I am assuming we will hear later in the week. So antsy though

Maybe if I wander onto campus looking lost they will feel bad for me and let me know. :rolleyes:
