CSULB-ELMSN Fall 2011

Hey everyone so I have been waiting for a couple of years to finally have all of the pre-reqs done to be able to apply to nursing school. I am finally finished and am just waiting for CSULB-elmsn's program which will start in Fall 2011. I want to know who else is planning on applying so we can have each other to go through the process with and I'm not going to lie I would really like to see what the competition is like. Goodluck to everyone. I look forward to meeting you in the fall!

I thought someone posted that she would be done this week with the list. I could be mistaken. If nothing else, I hope she lets us know next week. I think I can wait one more week but it would make for a grateful Easter if we ound out today! Good luck!

Someone said we might be finding out via email, so now I nearly jump out of my skin every time I get a new email notification. This is the craziest adrenaline rush I have ever had.

I happened to be in the neighborhood and decided to drop by the campus. I spoke with (you can guess who) and she said decisions will be made by mid-May. This seems somewhat contradictory from the earlier posts. The waiting continues.

I think in the long run this may work in our favor. More schools will offer admissions and leave spots open for us by those who do not accept. However, until then it is going to be a torturous wait. I have lots of plans and preparations to put into play before school starts. ::sigh::

I hope we find out sooner as well. I wonder why the school would tell some people one thing and others another. You would think they would want to be consistent with what they report.

I'm pretty sure ---- gets annoyed with all the phone calls/ people dropping in to ask of their status and so I guess she just gives them an answer of mid-May because thats what the CSULB informational letter states. Seems like she gets annoyed really easily too when I called back in earlier April.

The committee meets tomorrow to approve the ELM list. If all is okay, the list will post by Thursday AM
