  1. Congrats! Now time for the real fun! Lol.
  2. It took 7 agonizing weeks, but hopefully it'll be smooth sailing from here on.
  3. I just got the email!!! Check your emails everyone!
  4. I'm going to be in the NICU!!!!! We will basically be neighbors.
  5. We are all definitely in that same boat. That's what makes it hard to wait once we have the offer and Livescan going on! You'll do great in your interview. Good luck! Don't let our nerves rattle you. Who knows? We'll probably all see each other at the next orientation.
  6. LOL. Don't be nervous. Just be patient, and try not to freak out. Focus on the part that is immediately ahead of you. What department are you interviewing with?
  7. Hopefully we'll be getting started before the new year!
  8. Are you calling HR or pre-employment? HR tells me to call pre-employment. Not that the message is any different, but still. Lol.
  9. I'm taking up my old hobby that got me through the agony of waiting to hear about getting in to nursing school: sewing! Hopefully we'll end up in the same orientation class. I'm so excited to get to work!
  10. Same! It is going to drive me absolutely crazy if it takes an entire month for my live scan to clear. What unit will you be working on?
  11. Yikes! That feels like forever. I only did my live scan two weeks ago, and I'm already antsy waiting for a response. Do you mind if I ask at what hospital?
  12. I'm a new grad nurse, and I got job offers for the relief nurse position from two county facilities. I'm just here twiddling my thumbs now, waiting for my background check to clear before I start in the NICU. There's hope for us all!!!
  13. I got in right after I finished my prerequisites, but not without a bit of drama. LOL. Cerritos is a lottery selection and they don't have a wait list, so it's hard to put an average on the amount of time it takes to get into the program. It really is luck, hope, prayer, or whatever helps us all sleep at night. Good luck to you!!!
  14. Just finished the app and survey. Pretty sure that survey indicates I'm severely neurotic, but whatever. Good luck everyone!
  15. App status still says "in progress," but I haven't heard anything yet.
