  1. Did they give you the formulas for volume, etc. on the math section?
  2. Congrats!!! I'm hoping I will be in the same position soon :)
  3. I feel your pain of not getting into a nursing program. I've applied for the last 2 years with no luck even though I have the GPA and the prerequisites completed. I've been applying to schools with a lottery system so it really is all about luck. I'm finally realizing that doing an LVN program first might get me into an RN program quicker, but then the LVN program only takes 30 out of all its applicants. It's such a frustrating process but I'm really trying to stay positive and hopeful that this next time I will get good news. Reading all these posts with words of encouragement is really helping me to keep going with the process. That's why I looove this site so much :)
  4. Death by cookie!!
  5. Hi everyone! My future plan is to become an LVN before an RN, and I'm pretty curious as to whether LVN/LPN school is just as difficult as RN school. I've seen tons and tons of posts about the stress and craziness of RN school, but none from LVN side! My guess is that it's pretty much the same, but I'd love to hear what your experiences were.
  6. Definitely do it! It's very useful in knowing disorders and procedures.
  7. Congrats! You're luckier than I am lol
  8. Thanks for your responses! I've started studying for the TEAS just in case. Wish me luck :)
  9. Hi, I was wondering what the average waiting period was before getting into the Cerritos College nursing program. The most I've heard is 3 years before they getting a letter to take the TEAS....I'm already in my 2nd year waiting.
