  1. I am also starting in January, the 6th to be exact! I am excited as well...of course nervous too. It's kind of crazy that we are starting right after Christmas. I have a family, so the budget thing has been an interesting challenge this time of year...but I am ready! I wish ALL of us just starting (as well as all of those who are going into their next semester) the best of luck!!!!
  2. Oh yes... I have done my research lol... I am sure that the next 2 years will be just chaos, but I know it is worth every minute. My husband is very supportive, and my daughter is now 10 years old, and just as excited. This is for the betterment of our family, and they know it.... but I know it will NOT be easy!! It will definitely be worth it though :)
  3. LOL I can only imagine at this point... I am excited... but I am also in a bit of panic if you will! I know I can do this... I WILL do this!!! Congrats to you!!!! Thanks for the post!
  4. Thank you!! I am not sure what stats you mean as every school is different... I can elaborate but I need more info :)
  5. Thank you and you will be in my shoes!!!! We have to take our own advise right??? LOL Good luck to you friend
  6. Haha Yesss I am already taking advantage of that... I know what is ahead is going to be INSANE... but I am ready :) Thanks for the post!
  7. I forgot to ask... where is your program? I always wonder who will be in my new class :)
  8. Thanks! I am in southern AZ... it is a locally based school, but they have campuses in many states as well.
  9. Thank you!!!
  10. Thank you! Congrats to you!! If they told you that you are in then don't fret! You will get your letter! It is a crazy feeling :)
  11. I got my letter in the mail a couple of days ago, actually on my daughter's 10th birthday, which was pretty darn cool! I was a nervous wreck and couldn't open it right away. I was shaking and my heart was pounding out of my chest. Finally, I couldn't stare at it or wait any longer. There was no one in my house, but I HAD to open it! I saw those magic words "This letter is to congratulate you on your acceptance into the nursing program" and I about fell out of my chair! I am soooo excited, and soooo nervous!!! I can't wait to start this process but it is such a big deal and scary!! I will be seeing many of you on here I am sure!
  12. I plan to get a Littman classic 2... On medisave.com they do the engraving for free and shipping is also free. The one I am eyeing is around $84 bucks. I will keep it very close LOL but with my name engraved on it, and I will probably buy a pin for it too, I can't imagine someone wanting to steal it. On a completely different note -- I am staring in January as well... where are you guys going to school?? I am really excited to meet some of my new nursing school friends, but orientation isn't until December
  13. I am so excited to say that I have been ACCEPTED into my nursing program!!! I will start in January! I can't believe it is real now....wow! I have orientation on Dec 19th and I am just so darn excited, well and very nervous too . To everyone else out there waiting to hear, I wish you all luck!! I will see you over in the general nursing student section!
