@ames3 I heard the same last year. Last year the candidates got acceptance letters via email from what I understand from reading the boards. I don't think they had interview notices.

Haha every time an email pops up I scramble first to see if its from the school then to see if its another forum member having heard from the school.

---- sent out admission emails around this time last year. I received my email that i was on the alternate list on the 17th of April of last year. So I hope they are sending out emails by the end of this week!!! The wait is killing me!

man I worked a double shift and I was hoping to come home today and see all you guys saying YEAHHHH we got in!! but no The wait continues... I have a class tomorrow at GWC so I will drive over to Long Beach and see if she posted the list. I actually spoke to someone who got admitted for fall 2009 and she said she didn't get an email at all that someone drove over to LB and took a picture of the list and posted it on the thread. But then in fall 2010 I read some students saying they got emails so I don't know what the Heck is going on!!!! :) In any event if the list is posted I will take a picture of it and post it on here.... :)

Alright so the list is not posted... but.... I spoke with ---- and she is just finishing up the list she will send emails out by the end of the week.... She said the unofficial cut off score is 9.1ish. If are close to LB and if you absolutely can't wait then if you go and see her she will let you know if you got in! I'M IN!!!! I'm on cloud 9 right now! Can't wait to meet everyone!!!!!

was the cut off score lower this year? last year was about 9.3 huh? good job malefocker!!!! i'm glad everything worked out well for you since you put all your eggs into the LB basket! =)

Thanks Psy-to-Nurse...So happy right now... The cut off score last year was 9.15... It is up on their website... this is before alternates were admitted so the cut off was actually a little lower last year. Monalisa told me earlier that they usually end up allowing around 7 alternates to enter the program because some of the people who got admitted will go to other schools.

Congratulations Malefocker!!! I am so tempted to head over to LB today since I am only 15 minutes away. I hate to bug Monalisa though. The end of the week seems so far away!

@tweetychick510 last years cut off was around 9.15 but I believe ended up being 9.10 after alternates were admitted. The average was 9.39 though.

Okay so antsy to find out now!

OMG I just got back from lunch and glad I logged right back into this website.

CONGRATS Malefocker!!

I can't believe we'll know by the end of this week. I'll wait to get the email but if I don't hear by Friday, then I'll make a pest of myself and call. If the cut off is 9.1, then I think I have a good chance of getting in. Thanks Malefocker for letting us know! Now I don't have to obsessively check my email every hour.
