CSULA ABSN 2016

Hi everyone! I haven't seen a thread started for this yet so figured I should start one! I'm applying to CSULA's ABSN program for Summer 2016 and am about to submit my application in the next few days. Who else is applying? Figured we could all support each other and keep each other updated during this nerve-wracking process :)

I'm wondering the same thing. I called and they mentioned that interviews would probably go until mid-March.

There's still chance that they are sending out interview invites. I think last time around this year they still had interview invites going out, so there's hope!!

Interview invites are still going out!! I just got an email yesterday about scheduling an interview :) I was given a few dates to choose from including early March so it looks like they will at least be going on until then. I'm a little nervous about the writing portion of the interview. Has anyone read or heard from previous years what it is like?

Congrats on your interview offer!

Writing portion isn't that bad. You are timed and you complete it in a separate room. It's not anything you need to prepare for.

She specifically said that we should not tell other students what the topic is so I'll leave it at that! Don't worry about it, though.

Did anyone that interviewed this week get a date to when we should hear back on decisions?

Okay she mentioned the same to me as well. That's later than past years. From past threads many got contacted the 4th week of March.

Maybe because there are more applicants this year? Not sure, but hopefully we will all be getting calls sometime between late March and early April!
