CSULA ABSN 2016

Published

Hi everyone! I haven't seen a thread started for this yet so figured I should start one! I'm applying to CSULA's ABSN program for Summer 2016 and am about to submit my application in the next few days. Who else is applying? Figured we could all support each other and keep each other updated during this nerve-wracking process :)

@ljp4x Congrats on your acceptance to the other 2 programs already!! I actually think CSULA has a better program than UCLA, so nothing to worry about. CSULA is also my first choice. Let's hope for the best and keep our fingers crossed these next few weeks that everyone ends up where they want to!

@arounai yes I interviewed Feb 4th, Yale's program is nice, I planned on applying there as well, but made the decision to stay in California for school!

Fuji11: Ohh wow. It must be nice to get the interview over with early but I don't know if I'd be able to stand the wait till decisions come out! At least we'll know in a couple weeks.

And I agree, I'd rather stay here for school. California has definitely spoiled me weather-wise for anywhere else. );

Thanks @truffles! Another day down (and a month to go), but who's counting! ;)

Oh man, this wait is torture! One month to go...

I've applied to three programs, but CSULA is my first choice! All of the schools notify in April.

@ljp4x it must do your nerves some good to already have 2 acceptances in your pocket :) congrats!

Does anyone have classes still in progress? Also, have you started collecting all your vaccination records etc?

Thanks @amals, CNA! It helps, but the other acceptances are in NYC, and I'd rather be in LA! :)

@WandaDupree I do not have classes in progress. I have started trying to get my vaccination records together. Might as well put the positive vibes into the universe, right?!

I had the Developmental Psych in progress at the time of the interview, and since have completed it and turned my transcripts in. Getting my titers done next week!

Have you guys started uploading your information yet? Or do we wait until we get accepted and then they give us a code?

Finished up my last class in December!

Where is everyone getting their titers done, just with their GP? I'm on the search for the most cost-effective place to get all the tests knocked out...

We don't need the titers if we've had the vaccinations, is that right?

Specializes in ICU.

Did anyone receive any invitation this past week?
