CSULA ABSN 2016

I just applied to the program too. I have been checking threads from last year to find out the process and the time line. I am so nervous.

Mid-February seems like forever from now. And then admission decisions by April right? Btw this year's threads seem less active than previous years!

Yeah it really is less active than past threads, I know many people apply, we can't be the only one's lol. But I think interviews run through mid-March and decisions come at the end of March, from past threads it seems.

People are prob not looking into this thread. I wasn't aware of this threads existence until like 2 days ago. The wait for the results seems like a lifetime. We will start getting calls around mid feb. what major and school did you guys graduated from? I graduated from CSULA with exercise science.

Nice! I graduated from CSUN with a Liberal Studies Degree, took prereqs for the last 2 years. I've looked for this thread for about a month, then just when I was going to start a thread I found this one. I'm pretty sure more people will get on as interviews start going out.

Have u applied to csun? U will prob get in to that school since you graduated from there... What do u think?

I actually didn't apply to CSUN, I was unaware they had a ABSN Program and when I finally figured out it was too late. I was so used to them only having the RN to BSN the whole time that I never bothered to look lol silly me

I graduated from UC San Diego with a degree in Human Biology! I've been taking time to figure out my career goals and take prerequisites. So glad you guys joined the thread :)

Which other schools have you applied to and is CSULA your top choice?

Same with me! I looked into healthcare after I graduated, and worked as an EMT for 2 1/2 years and I discovered nursing is what I wanted to do. I applied to CSULA and CSUSM.

I changed my major from therapy to nursing too. But I have been doing research since early last year to apply for ABSN program. I applied to CSULA csun csuf and CSUSM, but CSULA is my top pick coz I graduated from there.
