Hi everyone! I haven't seen a thread started for this yet so figured I should start one! I'm applying to CSULA's ABSN program for Summer 2016 and am about to submit my application in the next few days. Who else is applying? Figured we could all support each other and keep each other updated during this nerve-wracking process :)
Hi everyone! I am new to this thread as well. I sent in my application early January and received an email January 20th saying they got my application but no invite for an interview :/ My last initial is "T" by the way! Maybe because I am at the end of the alphabet I will get a call later? That would be great haha.
Hey everyone thought I'd join this thread too but like some others I've had no interview invites yet. I did receive an email saying that they are still under initial reviews and they needed to confirm a prereq I took so lets not fully lose hope just yet. Those who did get interviews, I'd greatly appreciate if you share some stats.
For those wondering:
BS Biology from UC
3.6 cumm GPA
~3.8 prereq
87% TEAS (96th percentile)
CNA cert.
..yeah I'm nowhere near the top and should have busted ass but whatever.
Hi all! Long time lurker, first time poster on this thread! I also got an email saying my application was received on Jan 25 - sort of odd since it was hand delivered on Jan 12. I have an unimpressive undergrad GPA in architecture from ten years ago, 4.0 in all prereqs, and got a 94.7% (99) on TEAS. No EMT or CNA, but I'm a Care Extender at UCLA, helped with breast cancer research at UCLA and have worked for 2 years as a PT aide specializing in Women's Health (what I want to do in nursing). Def not the highest compared to many on this thread (and no interview yet as a result), but trying to stay positive! Good luck all, and thanks for keeping us all posted as the round of interviews come out! :)

Hi everyone! New to this thread. I also have applied to the CSULA ABSN Program for Summer 2016 and have my interview the 3rd week of Feb. Super glad that someone started a thread as I have been searching for this for while now. Best of luck to everyone!
