CSULA ABSN Summer 2021

Hi Everyone!

This is a forum for CSULA's Accelerated BSN program starting June (Summer) 2021. 

Applications just opened & are due in January. I was surprised that there wasn't a forum already created so thought I’d create one so we can keep each other updated ?

Has anyone else not received a confirmation? I’m going to email ------------------------ tomorrow as it’s been 2 weeks since my first email, but just wanted to know if anyone else is in the same boat.

Hello,

Hope all is well! I know we were in the same boat of waiting at the beginning of last week so just wanted to update that I have received my application confirmation email. The confirmation took three weeks and two days from when it was delivered to the school to give you an idea. I know its a gap period from when the school gets the packet to when the individual evaluating them gets it due to remote work.

Thank you so much! I finally got my confirmation today as well, I feel much more settled knowing this. Hoping the best for us both.

Anyone still receiving interviews invitations?

I'm just wondering what the farthest out date for interviews is so far.

I had my interview on January 30, and ----------------------- told me that decision would be made before or by March 26. I'm assuming she'll still be interviewing until March 13.

My application was delivered on 1/13 and I received my confirmation email on 2/8 but no interview invite. I noticed the people who got interview invites got them a few days after their confirmation. Maybe I won't be getting an interview? ?

Thank you!! I recently received my rejection from the UCLA MECN program and CSULA is my second choice, so I was really hoping to hear something by now. 

I know everything will work out for us in the end ?

It looks like from older threads, candidates were still receiving interview invitations during President's Day week, so keep your head up! The director has a ton of mail to go through.

we are in the exact same boat ! ? but no matter happens, let’s trust the process on our journey to become nurses ?

@kemsn & @lvsfrmthvn There are so many journeys into nurse-hood. You are both clearly driven and wonderful candidates. Regardless of CSULA or any other school, I have absolute faith the both of you are going to make excellent nurses!

Couldn't agree more with this ❤️ ... No one's path is linear but at the end, we'll all make fantastic nurses one day.
