CSULA ABSN Summer 2021

Hi Everyone!

This is a forum for CSULA's Accelerated BSN program starting June (Summer) 2021. 

Applications just opened & are due in January. I was surprised that there wasn't a forum already created so thought I’d create one so we can keep each other updated ?

Hi @lvsfrmthvn!! I was thinking the exact same thoughts as you but don't worry!! My application was delivered on 1/13 and I received my confirmation email on 2/6. I just received my interview invitation this evening, which is 9 days after the confirmation email. I'm thinking they probably just haven't finished looking through all the applications yet. Keep your head up, you got this!! ?  

Also, the dates that were available were up until March 9 for my email.

Can I kindly ask if there were a lot of spots left when you were picking ?

Yes ofc! There were 8 times listed ?

Did anyone else receive an email invitation to submit the Cal State Apply application? I received my invitation earlier today.

Yes, I received mine earlier today as well.

Yes, I interviewed last Tuesday on 2/9.

Yeah, I interviewed earlier this month. I think the order of operations can be different depending on when they review your application. I believe everyone who interviews will be invited to apply to the university. And it may mean that you get invited to apply before you receive your interview invitation, as the school application seems to be based purely off of academic history. At least that's the impression I got from --------------------------.

Has anyone completed the Cal Apply application and if so, when does it ask for the individual code? My page doesn't look like the one in the email. Thank you! 

update: figured it out. Didn't realize there were multiple hyperlinks. My bad.

I Googled Cal State apply, and chose the term Summer 2021.

I already have a Cal State apply account, so it looked different when I logged in. Cal State Apply keeps terms(edit: years) separate so I couldn't see other schools I applied to(Fall 2021 vs Summer 2021are different year cycles) unless I was in a different term login page, if that makes sense. I clicked on the tab "Add" and it looked like this picture. I clicked enter invitation code.
