   straight pay is pretty much the norm in hospitals - it’s because of it being considered an “alternative work week” since our week consists of 3 x 12 hr days which constitutes 36 hrs vs the normal 40. 😕

   Agree! I know St. Joe would be an amazing hospital to grow my experience and knowledge but my heart feels strongly for L&D. It is at Loma Linda Children's 🙂 wonderful hospital as well!

   Still considering. I got an offer from a Maternity Unit elsewhere; however, St. Joe is really close to my family and I haven't been able to be around them for a long time. So many factors to consider! What is your take on it? I'm super torn.
