CSULA ABSN Summer 2021

Hi Everyone!

This is a forum for CSULA's Accelerated BSN program starting June (Summer) 2021. 

Applications just opened & are due in January. I was surprised that there wasn't a forum already created so thought I’d create one so we can keep each other updated ?

does anyone know if the interview is gonna be group or individual ? ?!

It was my understanding that they have typically been individual in the past.

Congratulations on the interview invites! I had to mail in my application on the last possible day because one set of my transcripts (that I ordered mid-December) didn't come in until the day before the deadline after the post office closed!! I really hope I can still at least get an interview ?

Are your interview dates soon??

There were 20 interview slots given in the email, spread over a few weeks.  I think they plan to send another set of dates, maybe 2 more sets. Because I know they do many more than 20 interviews.  I saw in past forums that they conduct about 60 interviews for 30 spots.

Hi Folks!

I was wondering if anyone had any additional information regarding the turn around time for acceptance letters. If we are offered admission to the program, how much time are applicants given to return their decision? Additionally, are acceptances released on a rolling basis? Is there an advantage to accepting an earlier interview slot?

Does anyone have interview advice/info for CSULA!! I heard it's really competitive and it makes me so nervous. Best of luck to all of you!

Hello! Congrats to everyone who already got an interview invite. My application arrived at CSULA on Jan 12th. I emailed -------------------------- to see if she received it, and she let me know that all applications are being delivered to her home by a staffer due to her being mandated to work from home. She told me to follow up with her two weeks from the 12th if I haven't received an email confirmation that my application was received. Just an FYI to anyone else who submitted their application last week and is anxiously waiting to hear back.

They received my application packet today!

Kind of random but..

Is anyone also applying to ADN programs, in case they don't get into any ABSN? Instead of waiting to reapply in a future semester.
