  1. Hello, Did anyone apply to the Spring application when it first opened and were later offered a position a week or so after interviewing? I applied to the Fall app the first week it opened and completed the interview process quickly. It's been a week since I interviewed and I haven't heard anything. Did anyone have a similar experience where they waited a while and were offered a position 1-3 weeks later?
  2. Sorry, don’t know if I’m too late to this. What round are you in? The first interview was just the recruiter getting to know me. Second interview was generalized scenario questions to get to know my personality. Let me know how it goes!
  3. Hi, have you heard back with an offer or email? My friend got hired through the Spring application and she told me a recruiter emailed her an offer 3 days after interviewing. I interviewed last Friday and it’s a Tuesday now. Wondering how long they will take.
  4. The nurse manager I interviewed with said they are hiring for ICU resource, acute care resource, and maybe peds resource. This is at the Tisch/Kimmel location. the brooklyn location has spots open for their ED.
  5. Hi, everyone. I applied for the New Grad ICU Resource Team and just finished my third (and final) interview on Friday. Still waiting to hear back. The interview process happened all in one week, was kinda intense. Hope everyone gets hired, we earned it!
  6. Amazing! Thank you for the excellent news.
  7. Hello! I will graduate with my BSN in CA in August 2022 and plan to take my NCLEX hopefully by the end of September in CA (and then apply for NY state licensure). Does anyone know if NYU Langone offers Fall/Winter new grad RN positions for those of us that missed the Spring application pool? Thanks in advance!
  8. I just got accepted into SFSU, but I didn’t take the offer because Im staying with CSULA. I think there were some other applicants from the Bay Area who got into both schools, so if they go with SFSU some spots might open up for ya?
  9. LOL you just tipped off your competition.
  10. I think it was Step 2 or 3 in the process. Maybe you can go back and submit.
  11. Congrats to everyone who received an acceptance email so far. I also received one - I don’t think I’ll take it because I accepted an offer from CSULA. That should open up another spot for someone on the waitlist. Best of luck to all who are beginning this nursing school journey as well!
  12. I just completed the assessment. I thought it wasn't too bad. One of the questions really threw me off but I somehow managed to give an okay situational example. 4 questions are more than SFSU asked me - only 2! And my experience at CSULA was the complete opposite - I think they asked me 20 questions. Don't know which is better, LOL. Just do your best. The program knows that we won't be able to share our life stories, so really let your personality shine and let your ability to think on your feet propel you. Good luck to everyone!
  13. I know someone in the current ABSN cohort and I can ask her if she’s on track to graduate in 15 months. Where did you find this Nursing Handbook?
