CSU Long Beach School of Nursing (Fall 2010)

Published

This thread is for those who are aspiring a seat in CSU Long Beach's School of Nursing for Fall 2010.

We all know the current impaction of the program. We are all familiar with the challenging process.

We understand the competition between all the applicants. You are not alone!

I submitted my application yesterday and I must tell you the relief I suddenly had.

I have worked hard the past two years of my life and there is nothing else I can do but pray and hope. =]

Has anyone else turned in their application?

YAYY27 sucks but we have to deal with their decision.Anywei felt more bad when i talked to admission cordinator and they said am alternate No.5,but they had to take 75 students only because of budget cut instead of 90.That means i could have been accepted if they didn't do that.let our torture continue and focus on our back up schools.me too waiting for CSULA.

I'm in ! Looking forward to meeting all of you at the orientation! Annie Boehm

Congrats to everyone who got in & good luck to those on the alternate list. Several of my backup schools did indicate that they're cutting back on admissions. So perhaps most public schools are cutting back on number of nursing students admitted per term now.

Maybe we can start a new thread now. CSU Long Beach Fall 2010 BSN students perhaps, so we can all anticipate together.

Hi everyone!

This is my first post on this site. Just wanted to congratulate everyone who got into the 2010 Fall BSN Program! I just saw my e-mail and jumped for joy when I saw that acceptance e-mail....See you guys at the orientation :)

Congrats everyone! I am so happy for you as well as for myself. I was screaming when I received the email. I'm so happy!!!! See you guys in June for orientation!

i just joined today too :) ..congrats to you

It's strange. I thought I would be more excited than I was when I found out I got accepted. For the past couple of years all i've done academically was for one purpose--to get into nursing school. After the interview, I basically forgot about it. Anyway, I hope there are a lot of good people in this upcoming semester. I need some fun and hard working study buddies.

I am so happy that I got in!!!!! I am happy for you guys too!!!!!!

Let's not forget people who are on the alternative list or didn't get accepted....Don't be too sad you guys!!! I am sure you worked really hard as well. It is a matter of time for you to get in eventually.

daitrong, I almost felt the same way only because I felt..at that very moment, there wasn't much that I could do anymore (after the interview). Just sit and wait for a reply...

Now that the wait is finally over...I was wondering, how many of you are thinking about the trimester program as opposed to the basic, or vice versa. Any opinions?

Trimester for me. I got a lot of money saved up so I don't need to work during the summer.

Yes, trimester for me as well.
