Hello All! So the time has come for a new thread for all of us applying for fall 2014. Anyone applying in March?
Christina731...do you know how many credits is the max before that excess credit fee comes into play? I have about 54 credits from CSN, 75 credits from UNLV, and after Fall semster I will have about 32 credits from NSC. So about 161 credits total after transfering UNLV and NSC credits to CSN, altough some classes are repeats and I am not sure how they count those. I am applying for Spring 2015 but want to make sure I cover all my bases with everything and of course do not want to pay more than I have too.

It depends on what your declared major is. For instance if your degree is 60 credits then multiply that by 1.5 to get 90. So if you have more than 90 then you pay the fee. More than likely you will pay the fee unless you graduate.
Thank you for all of the helpful information, christina731! Really appreciate it :)
Which option #'s did other students get for their courses?
Additionally, does anyone remember the name of the group for the CSN Nursing group where you can participate in meetings and be paired up with another nursing student from previous semesters?
Just to be clear, our scrubs for lab is not uniform right? It can be any color/design as well as our shoes? Its CSN Student Nurses' Association.
Yes, any color/style scrubs and shoes (closed toe) for lab.
I didn't know that the student nurses association did a mentor program. That must be new!
christina731 they have had the mentor program since I've been in SNA 2 semesters ago
Maybe that's why I should join SNA and I might know about these things lol!
Has anyone finished all their things that are required? Summer break is going by so very fast
Summer goes by WAY too fast! But nursing school goes by even faster so get used to it :) imagine finding out that you got accepted in late October and starting in January. Throw in the holidays, working full time and finishing up my fall semester on top of getting everything done for the program was enough to drive me nuts!

No, this is if you pay for your tuition with loans or out of pocket.
