Hi!

I am also taking the teas in a few weeks, any advice would be great. How many points does anyone have, I currently have 36 points.

Hi guys!

I submitted my app earlier this month for Fall 2014. I have 42 points applying for extended track. I took the teas on Jan 4th. I prepared by taking practice teas tests. I purchased the book that had them on amazon. I based my studying off what I missed on the practice tests. I scored 91 overall so I think that studying really helped. I have to say it was surprisingly difficult to put my app in the lady's hands. I just keep hoping I did everything right... and that it doesn't get lost.

Which track are you applying for? Good luck to you. !!

Hi guys:) I just took the teas last week. The science section was the most difficult for me. I'd focus on brushing up on biology. I'm submitting my app with 35 points. Do you guys think that will be enough?? I haven't finished 251 yet.

One more question..... Deadline is March 1st. When do we typical hear an answer? Thanks:-)

I took the teas in January, I should be applying with 35-36 points depending on the approval of course substitutions, fingers crossed that they will be finished with the evolutions in the next couple weeks.

Hi! I'm in my 3rd semester of the full time ADN program. They generally inform you about 8-10 weeks after the application deadline. Usually end of April/Early May. It's a tough wait but sooooo worth it. The program is very challenging and fun. I've met some amazing classmates and instructors. I can't wait to graduate in December!

Thanks for the information Christina! Congrats on your upcoming graduation!!! That's so exciting:-)

Yay! It's awesome to know I have others to share the excitement with. I will be applying for the full time track and I have 36 points.

As for the TEAS... Just study. I had both the ATI book and the McGraw one. I preferred the McGraw I didn't think the ATI one was very useful.

I too am applying for Fall 2014. I have 32 points. Working on my last class now (com). For those of you taking the TEAS this month, Good Luck! The first time I took the TEAS I failed the reading section by 1 stinking question. The second time I was scared that I wasn't going to pass. I ran out of time while taking the reading test, so I wasn't able to answer 3 questions. I felt horrible. I didn't think I had passed, so I just hurried through the rest of the test. Luckily I did pass! Long story short, even if you run out of time keep on going!

The teas is no fun. Best tip I think besides studying and taking practice tests is to manage your time well. The hour you get for reading and then math goes by super quick. I'll be retaking mine in a couple weeks.

Good luck! :-)
