  1. Christina731, i agree with you. All your time should not be only school. Some of my peers have adjusted a lot easier to nursing school than I have. I just know that doing all the pre reqs and the schooling I've had before does not compare to what I am dealing with now. I finally found a studying method that is working. I just meant that they should enjoy there time now because it will not be the same once nursing school starts :) I remember you telling me the same thing and I didn't believe you Christina731 lol
  2. I know you guys are all anxious but trust me when I say enjoy your free time now. Your first semester is no joke. This is my first semester and when people say you don't have a life..... YOU LITERALLY DONT HAVE A LIFE.. No other schooling that I've done comes close to what nursing school requires from you. Seriously enjoy your last few months of freedom lol
  3. ElTigreChino, but on the program it only asks for the 1 acknowledgement form. I'm assuming we bring all the rest from the packet. I tried calling the office but they are on vacay and I emailed 1 of our professors and no reply. :/ quite frustrating. All my other stuff is uploaded. It takes a while for it to be approved also.
  4. ElTigreChino, you can buy the neighborhood on amazon for $40 instead on through the bookstore. It's a $10 save. Has anyone uploaded their forms to the certified profile thing? All the signed acknowledgment forms do we bring them in person on the 21st? That's a lot of forms to upload. It only asks for 1 form through the cp program.
  5. Christina731, for our first 3 clinicals I know we will do the program ACE..... Is that held on campus or somewhere specific?
  6. Hey everyone! Books are in! I just got mines today!
  7. Rella_ if u haven't bought any books yet make sure you check amazon for the extra books and those recommended. I just saved some money doing that. Christina731 time seems like it's on crack! It's insane
  8. Has anyone finished all their things that are required? Summer break is going by so very fast
  9. Seashelseas, i chose option 16. And am also taking the toolbox class at 8 to 9:30 but going to email her and see if I can do the 10 am one. What are they talking about the excess credit fees? I don't remember her name. I'm sure if you call the office they can direct you to the correct person.
  10. Christina, do you know where we can get more info for the scholarships offered through the health science school at?
  11. Yea I started my vaccines already. Going back in June for my final doses. CPR class is scheduled and the tb test as well. I'm kinda anxious for the toolbox class to start. Give me an idea of what these calculations look like. I do want to get my hands on those books ASAP tho.
  12. Christina731, is there anything you could recommend for us to start looking at? I know we should prob relax n enjoy the summer aside from the toolbox class but I don't want to be idle.
  13. From what I understand picking up your packet and signing your acceptance letter May 8th was mandatory. If you want to ensure you are in the program I don't think you should have them mail it to you.
  14. Vpbernal I studied about 2 or 3 days. I used the McGraw hill book. It's the one that helped me the most!
  15. It's a dosage class. Teaches us all the dosage calculations. I signed up for it as well.
