Hello All! So the time has come for a new thread for all of us applying for fall 2014. Anyone applying in March?

The line has to be drawn somewhere in the sand. Someone will always argue that the rules were bent for others so the rules should be bent for them too.

Yes, she said approx 20 people that were accepted didn't take their seat for this fall.

Wow that's crazy. I've been following your story and I just am heartbroken for you! I can't even believe that. Especially if so many people denied they should make room for you. So bogus. I would atleast try and appeal just so you don't have any regrets

Thats kinda awesome to hear being an alternate and all...I wonder how many alternates there are though....hm fingers crossed...

Mamacruz87 dont give up! I know all this sucks but I was in a position in the fall 2013 semester were rules weren't in my favor which lead me to failing the semester by ONE point. I was very discouraged and was about to give up nursing all together. Especially since I had to reapply and knew getting in would be harder for me since I didn't have math 120 yet and I lost a point for reapply. I may only be at alternate at this point but Im glad to see a tiny light at the end of my tunnel again. And I hope you hang in there. You'll see youre light at the end of the tunnel soon :)

Thanks jiffanytane. I am hanging in there. Everything happens for a reason. So I just have to roll with it. I am hopeful that you will get in.

I finished math 120 earlier this semester. I took an 8 week class that finished two weeks after the application deadline.. I was pretty bitter about that but eh...it's okay.

There is 20 alternates for full time. She also told me today that some already decline their position. She did not say how many... Fingers crossed!!

Ahh so nervous. But we go to pick up our packets on may 8 right? Just making sure. I just don't wanna miss a thing.

She said today that May 8th is not mandatory. If you dont go they will mail it out to you. I am going just incase!!

Well if anything you definitely have a huge shot for January. Maybe you'll be in January's selection with me.
