Croc shoes Worth it? Or forget it??

Okay so Im thinking of buying crocs for work. I have them to wear to the pool:cool: but I work 12 hour shifts and I have been hearing so much about them. So who has them and what do you think???:yelclap: Worth it ?????? or :angryfire Forget it?? Please post your thoughts so I could make a final decision. Thanks so much.

I love my Crocs!!! The first two days I wore them my feet were sore but after that my feet and legs hurt ALOT worse than they did with regular nursing shoes or tennis shoes. I have the ones with holes in them and I just gave a shower at work yesterday and had no problems with water getting in them, nor have I had any problems with any body fluids finding their way into a hole. Coupled with my TED hose, I'm in heaven. I do trip over my feet because they are wider at the toe and don't fit like a glove like tennis shoes, but it's worth it.

Check out ebay. I got one pair there for $20 and then ordered a pair through a nursing catalog for $30. I think they are cheap compared to Nursemates or Nikes

I wear an 11-12 shoe... depending on the brand. Do crocs tend to run a little big (or a little small) for their sizes- does anyone know?

Thanks-

I think they run true to size, I have a tan pair (with the holes on top) and I just ordered the professional ones on the website without the holes. Im pretty much a size 10 shoe (I know big foot here I come) and the size I have at home is a 10 they fit great. Good luck:monkeydance:

Love my Crocs! A gift shop near my home was having a sale, $11.00 a pair, so I got 2 pairs. They do seem to run a little big to me.

I have a pair of "Holey Soles" which are just like the Croc's; found them for $20 at my local mall and I have them. I was amazed that after clinical on Saturday when I took off my shoes my feet were not "screaming" at me! I plan on getting a few more. :D

Wow, are they really that great? I will have to try a pair on. I have seen them in the store and they didn't look like they'd have enough support for my feet. At $20, that's a great price.

I would like to try Z Coils. Yes, I know they are expensive but I hear that they are really comfortable and they do a great job of alleviating back, hip and knee pain. But, they are $200 and the lady at the scrub shop said you have to be careful around IV and O2 tubing with the coil. Eek!!

I know that this is similar material from other posts, so forgive me if I'm repeating myself. :)

We've had a few people at work that have gotten hurt when they snagged their Z coils on tubes and cords.

I own 4 pair of Nothinz. They are similar to Crocs but they are far more softer and lighter than the Crocs feel to me. I truly value that genius who thought of these lightweight shoes!! I buy the Nothinz at http://www.slipperstore.com

I LOVE my Crocs, I work 3-12hr night shifts on a vent unit, run run. My feet love my crocs. I got 6 other nurses to wear them to work..

They are the best shoes I ever bought I have all of their different colors. They feel so good! They are like walking on air. You cannot go wrong with these. The Croc brand feels the best. The cheap ones do not feel as good.

Buy you a pair. I guarantee you will buy more.

Everybody go to shoemall.com free shipping and no tax!!!

i have these shoes, mine are by Aqua Ducs, can't say enough for them. feel like walking on air. work 12 hours shifts and am on my feet all the time. my feet never get tired, or sore. I have tried several other brands, like wall-mart- not the same- too hard. I am going to buy more, they are worth the money. I work with alot of people and over half of them wear these shoes. they come in all different colors. you have to try them, you won't go want to go back to other shoes. I don't know what I will do in the winter, have to wear other shoes to work and then change to these. my legs feel less tired also since using these. :lol2: :balloons:
