New admit last night to my medicare unit...came from the hospital with an order for "Constanzi's Solution" 30cc qid.
I've been having a heck of a time finding out what this is.. by the time I got her, the pharmacy was closed (meds were ordered befoe she got to us, andthe pharm. did send the solution) I looked in my Nursing Drug handbook, PDR and today, a Google search turned up NOTHING except referring me to a harpist and other things that don't pertain.
Does anyone have any information??
Thanks a bunch!

There is a Dr. John Constanzi in Austin TX who specializes in hematology and oncology. Maybe it's something he invented?
