Commute time to hospital job

Hello everyone. I'm curious to know how far you currently drive from home to your job at the hospital. Thanks.

My drive averages 40 minutes one way (35 if I am feeling frisky). I feel like I have the best kept secret in my local area...my drive takes me out of the main flow of traffic, going in the opposite direction. Therefore it is a very easy drive with very little traffic stress. I enjoy my commute and use it to listen to Ted Talks, audio books and music that I love.

One hour or more back and forth, M-F. Yes, it is worth it to me.

I ended up working from home, my commute was 10 feet to the computer, sometimes I was late.

The longest drive time I would accept, was one hour. That was my max after a 12 hour shift.

This is why I don't think I could ever work from home. I'd be late all the time.

10 minutes to the office....unless I get railroaded. However, I log on average 750 miles during my work week.

Driving to work without traffic in the morning, roughly 25 minutes from my garage to the parking ramp. Going home with traffic in the afternoon/evening, 45 minutes to an 1 hour 15 minutes.

My 37 mile drive takes me about 1 hour on my way in at 6PM, and nearly an hour and a half on my home at 730AM. This drive is ALL highway, which is a blessing and curse. I love driving home on weekends, because it will take me as little as 45 minutes.

I recently accepted a position 7 miles from home and am excited to cut my drive time down to 20-30 minutes (all streets, no highway).

When I worked it was 1 hr + some change. I was kinda glad when I resigned, the drive was killing me.
