Thought I would start a new thread on my next class coming up. I know Delta...you have already taken this class, and have commented elsewhere about some of the requirements.
Any words of wisdom you and others can share whould be appreciated.
Okay...breathe. I only post my grades to let others know not to sweat the small stuff...this class is not that bad. Right?
I think it's cool sharing grades and posting insight. But whether or not a class is not that bad is all relative. I think this class can be an issue b/c we all live in different areas, and for some, data may be a bit taxing to find. As a result, that can make the class unbearable.
This is the first time in five classes that I did not get 100% on a DB post. It was my fault: I capitalized all of the words in title of a book I referenced and APA wants only the first word capitalized. Loosing a point over something like that really torques me though. Combined with my cr*ppy quiz grade, that takes me out of A territory, which was already problematic since the window is narrower for this class (95% vs 94% in my others).Okay...breathe. I wonder if OU will revoke my ΦΚΦ invitation after this class?

So true delta.....I, personally, haven't found any of the classes thus far to be "so easy" as some would say. The work-load is worse than others or exams tougher, but that's about it. The only thing they have in common is their obsession with APA format. I decided to make the decision on my own when I get there. Everybody handles the stress differently, but I would not have survived without you guys!!!!!! :bowingpur:yeah:
Module 2 grades all posted for my section. I did much better than during module 1! Improved quiz grade - thank heavens it was curved! Ended up with a 92 on my windshield survey - I am kissing the ground for that!!! I spent HOURS on that!! Now back to trying to decipher the silliness that is government offices in this state. NOTHING makes sense! I got a good grief use another state to compare to from my TA .... LOL:yelclap:
It is crazy how much a bad quiz grade drops the average...I had a 98% that dropped to a 93 something and even after receiving a 96% for the windshield survey and 100% for the DB it didn't reach a 94%. I know complaining about it doesn't change the fact but it sucks spending HOURS on assignments and a stupid 20 minute quiz ruins everything. My instructor doesn't curve-no fair lol
