Thought I would start a new thread on my next class coming up. I know Delta...you have already taken this class, and have commented elsewhere about some of the requirements.
Any words of wisdom you and others can share whould be appreciated.

I don't understand how some can and some can't do the curve. But thank god for it! It sucks that one lousy point off of an assignment takes 4 from the grade..........ugh.... Half way there guys!!!!!

It looks like there are 2 professors. One has 2 community classes and the other has 1. My professor was neither of the 2 and she curved after quiz 1. If I were in the class that didn't curve, I would inquire about it w/my TA. Heck, it doesn't hurt to ask!!

I lost a point for several spelling errors .... can honestly say I am astonished I didn't mis-spell even more! I was sick as a dog - temp of 102 trying desperately to finish that silly assignment. Bleary eyed and feverish and all I wanted was to finish and go back to bed and die - I think only making a couple of mistakes was a miracle!! As I said - I'll take the 92

I am furious! My DB was 3 paragraphs long with 5 references.
I got .5 taken off because I FORGOT the "L" when spelling our textbook in the references........
ONE LETTER WRONG IN MY WHOLE POST AND I LOSE .5 bringing my grade to a 95% .
I AM CRAZY ANGRY!!!!!!
Not to mention the 96% I got on the windshield survey for not having STATS in the analysis....I have read and re-read the instructions...with no mention of stats.
I HATE THIS CLASS!!!!

These classes are just plain ridiculous...we have to get through them. BSN bound...keep your eye on the carrot!

You guys do realize that the average Joe reading this post will think we're nuts calling this class hard when grades like 92, 95, 100% are being posted…LOL:bugeyes:
@Linda..I made the same mistake on forgetting a letter on a bus comm memo. My instructor basically said more point could have been taking off b/c my reference was inaccurate.
Regarding the stats, I thought that they were needed b/c you are basically doing an analysis of what you saw. But you might want to get clarification from your TA if it wasn't mentioned… Can't hurt….
OU has some serious quirks in the program. That's what makes me seriously doubt the quality of the NP program. Nit-picking to death really doesn't create a positive learning environment.

I spend extra time looking over the rubric, the assignment and the announcement to MAKE sure I cover everything before turning in my assignment. I didn't read stats...stats as to what I saw???? Grrrrrrrrr.

Omg I got hit on that very same error on the windshield survey!! Nowhere on the rubric does it mention that....
I did not see that in the rubric either, but I decided to throw in some stats from the community stats assignment into the analysis anyways to make my point on why I picked the health concerns that I did.
Almost done with this class, 1/2 way there...we can do it!
