Thought I would start a new thread on my next class coming up. I know Delta...you have already taken this class, and have commented elsewhere about some of the requirements.
Any words of wisdom you and others can share whould be appreciated.
The quizzes are only 10 questions - that's what makes it tough. Getting even one wrong hurts but getting 2 wrong gives you a grade of B minus. With quizzes representing over 36% of the grade, you need to be perfect with both the discussion board (easy to do) and the assignments (harder to do) to even have a chance, especially since you need 95% for an A (every other class has been 94%).Are the quizzes still 20 questions? If so, when I took it, after quiz #1, the quizzes were curved. And yeah, getting an A in this class can be a royal pain, but you can do it!!!

10 questions 20 minutes. I know the quiz last week (at least mine) came straight out of the chapters. No trick questions. But, it would be impossible to memorize all the stuff in the chapters to retain for the quizz.
I have found that each of the classes with OU have its quirks and dislikes. This one...is tough on the grading for sure!

I thought this week's quiz was KILLER compared to last week. Don't feel so good about. Especially with how heavy they are weighing in with our grades...

Yes...I already psychologically resigned myself to a B for this class.
