Community Health...who has taken or wil be taking?

Thought I would start a new thread on my next class coming up. I know Delta...you have already taken this class, and have commented elsewhere about some of the requirements.

Any words of wisdom you and others can share whould be appreciated.

Wow...got an 85% on my discussion post. Had 3 posts all with citations. But, with errors...so was marked off.

This is the lowest grade I have gotten in any class on anything. Hard core TA for this class. Yuck.

I wonder if you have my Comm TA. She was BRUTAL. After every module, I'd just get more and more annoyed. Just nit picked every little thing. But I was BOUND AND DETERMINED to not let that TA get the best of me. Bout killed myself that last week, but I aced everything on Module 5 and was able to get a 93.12% in the class. There was no doubt in my mind, I earned that A…LOL

Has anybody notices something weird about the mod 2 assignment download (windshield survery? Spell check not working when I write.....is it me????

All grades except quiz are up for my section. Overall did quite well - just waiting on the quiz grade which I hope to heck has a massive curve to it!

I had issues with one of those fill in the blank documents before and spell check not working among other things. I finally printed what I had done, deleted it and downloaded again and it worked fine.

MAJOR TIP for those w/picky TAs..When you do the windshield survey ACT LIKE YOU ARE WRITING A NARRATIVE. Don't just say you see a church on the corner. What does it look like (brick, stained glass windows, cross on top)? If you see people, DESCRIBE them in detail. I got dinged b/c I didn't state the COLOR of a turban a man I saw was wearing….WT$(*%W

Or act like you toured the country and the only thing to describe is green landscape and cows…LOL

Just got all grades except quiz...which I expect we'll get tomorrow. Hang in there. And yes, Chp 8 is the pits. OMG...can't seem to read that one in its entirety.:zzzzz

I think I must have gotten your TA!!!! These are the lowest grades I have ever had!!! I guess you took it last year?? I only have two more classes after this one and I'm worried this community class might kill my GPA, if so I will not be happy!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
