  1. I agree with you completely I have approached both the TA and the Professor about the grading not being consistent. I am supposed to be graduating as well and this class has really put a lot of stress on me. The TA will take off a lot of points for each error, I have had high 90's in all my classes so this is a huge difference. Not happy right now!!!
  2. The clinical component will start with the next class in February. This class is not bad but my TA is horrible and I have never had so many points deducted on papers. I have never been this stressed about a class...but almost done : )
  3. I'm in this class and the art class, both seem like a lot of work!!
  4. I will also be taking it with you. I will be taking it with art and jr english class. Will be a busy summer!!
  5. If you click on home page at the bottom it says updated aug 2008
  6. This is going to take a lot of time working with this program!!!
  7. I have not taken a math class for 23 years and I did fine. I watched all the videos that she posted and printed out all the extra materials. If you watch the videos and do the examples along with her it is a lot easier to do the homework assignments. 10 assignments worth 20 points each. Assignment 9&10 was combined. A midterm and final both 100 questions, 3 houred proctored exams. Midterm is assignment 1-5, final is 6-10. I had all my assignments and practice questions from her videos with me and used those to helpanswer the questions on the exams. They were multiple choice, T/F, and problems that you have to show your work. It was tough but if you stay ahead with your assignments and ask questions you will be ok. Our TA was very quick to respond to students questions. Sorry if i answered questions that have already been answered I didn't have time to go back and read through all the posts:)
  8. I am also taking this class. Just finished statistics and community. So glad to have stats out of the way!
  9. I do all my stats homework then focus on this class towards the end of week. I think our TA posted that after everybody was writing about homeless population. I will start my assignments tonight:yawn:
  10. Our TA said homelessness is just an example that we can focus on other vulnerable populations in our posts. Is there another population you can pick?
  11. I ended up with 5 pages and still spent hours:/ I spend too much time thinking about what I want to say instead of just typing it out and being done!!! I also ended up with a grade that was higher than expected:)) But I still spend a lot of time on these assignments!! It took me 10 minutes just to write those 3 sentences=)
  12. I'm in both classes right now and Community is so time consuming!! The statistics class is not as difficult as I was expecting. I do not like math and have not taken a math class since 1989:) Still can't wait for both to be done!!!
  13. I have to say I dislike this class more than the statistics class.
  14. I am also taking Family 2nd summer session then the 4550, 4580, 4520 and 4600 together. I was going to take 310 and 325 before they combine but decided to just wait. I'm taking Stats and community now. I'm exhausted!!! Can't wait for this 5 weeks to be done!!
  15. I have had my TA in my last course, she was fair with her grading. I am in sect 103. What about you guys? This class is very time consuming and I hope it gets better cuz I am taking stats with it!!! Dumb, but I have already committed.
