Hey, I am feeling giddy today. Sooooo....will ask for COB rollcall and year graduated from *first* nursing school (whether that be LPN/LVN or RN or even throw in the CNA date)...
I graduated in 1990 with my LPN. I was a CNA for at least 6 months prior to that. :)
Went into Radiology School 2 weeks out of High School. Talk about green and naive! A Diploma program, graduated in 1976. First job was at a Dr office/clinic in a beach resort town. A middle age man came in with CP. The doc does an EKG, turns to the man and states "You are having a heart attack. We need to send you to the hospital.". My thought? That's sooooo cool! He looks at an EKG and tells the man he's having a heart attack! I want to learn stuff like that!". At that point in time I was just out of school and thinking about going back? Returned to college a few years later and graduated with ASN 1994. Oh, and the dude having a MI? He was at the beach with his much younger girlfriend. He asked the doc if he (dude having MI) could tell the girlfriend before being sent to the hospital!
Now? A true COB! Nurse Ratchet is my role model. I'm thankful for all of the twist and turns that have brought me to this career.

Know them backward and forward. I've been a Beatles fan since I was five years old; I cried when they broke up, and I was only seven.
Fifty years from now, people will still be listening and singing along to their music.
