LOL feel free bro, I wouldn't wish this woman's wrath upon anyone. I truly feel sorry for whoever ends up as her next target.

I took PTO this week due to the end of the semester but since everyone here was so very helpful with this situation while I was going through it, I figured I had to let you all know that I just got a phone call from a coworker, and she was more than pleased to inform me that Nurse Nasty was fired on the spot this evening for reasons that are being kept hush hush at the moment. I'm sure it won't stay that way and the reasoning behind her firing will be revealed. But can I say that it is an extremely relieve not to have to worry about this woman at all anymore!

On a side note my pregnant girlfriend will hopefully become my pregnant fiancee this weekend, sshhh don't tell her that.

Again thank you all so much for being understand ears during all that mess.

Can't say enough good things about your situation, both at work and in your personal life! Sooooooo, how're ya gonna ask her? Romantic dinner, down on one knee? Thanks for letting us know "the rest of the story." Good luck!!!!!!!

Just wanted to congratulate you on both situations! You know you have to come back and tell us how your proposal goes, but we bet she says yes!;)

Thank you both. It's a nice stress relief to know I won't have to go back to work a deal with my former coworker ever again. Now I can move my stressing to other thoughts. I've got something pretty special in mind for my proposal, I'll divulge it after it happens just to be safe. I hope y'all are right and she says yes because she's absolutely the best thing that ever happened to me and everything to me and she's an amazing woman and I've never loved anything or anyone as much as I do her... I could gush for days about her so I'll stop before I start getting too deep. I'll let you know how it goes cross some fingers for me.

I promised I'd come back and give you guys yet another update. And while I still don't know why Nurse Nasty got fired, if I find that out I'll let you know. My girlfriend is now my fiancee. She said yes. I proposed last night. She almost threw a monkey wrench in my plan by leaving early to try and surprise me. But her best friend tipped me off. She pulled up at my house around 2am and I met her in the driveway (where I'd been standing freezing to death for half an hour) with 'Teri will you marry me?' blinking in Christmas lights on the roof (not as easy task thank it took two hours to do in the Lexington cold Thank God for good friends to help out). It didn't really register to her until she got out on the car and I got down on one knee in the driveway. But there were happy tears involved and she said yes which is the most important part. I couldn't be happier. Now I have the rest of the weekend with her before she leaves and I have to go back to work.

A typical Threatened Female it sounds like!

#1- if your admin doesnt pull her in & talk to her you can resport it as a hostile work environment !

#2- i'm sorry that she is such a BI___!

#3- Her comment about the little girl was not only offensive but slanderish of sorts.

#4- your a better person than I am because i have been a nurse for so long I fire right back! I have been known to throw out some zingers at those who disrespect others!!!

Good luck w/ this battle of the nitwit!!

Don't let her get away with it, if your admin doesnt do anything you can call & report it, you shouldnt have to feel like your being attacked by this BI____!!!

whatever you do, don't be like me :argue:

Thank you for the advice and concern. However our situation was dealt with a couple of weeks ago and she was fired this week while I was on PTO. I post the outcome as it happened in other posts in this thread. But again thank you for the concern.

I've been following this thread today. I wish I had your fortitude at a job I had several years back. I resigned before I could blow up on the woman, and since she was my charge nurse I'd have been in a world of hurt.

Taking the high road definately won you good karma points on this one. She on the other hand didn't have a leg to stand on.

Enjoy the "fresh" air
