Class of 2013 anyone?

Are you graduating in May or June, 2013? We have 7-8 more months to go! I would love to get a thread going to see how many of us are 'here' and see if we can keep each other encouraged till we see the finish line! We are almost there!

Hi Im a 4th year RN student in Palestine.. graduating in May '13.

The exam we take here is made by the university and its composed of NCLEX questions from the Nclex websites.

From what I read, u guys have a very different schedule then we do here...

The clinical courses im taking this semster are mental health and community health.

Next semester is my internship and im supposed to work in the medical, surgical, orthopedic (maybe), ER, OR, ICU, CCU, adult open heart, peds and maternity wards...

Btw...if i wanted to go back and work in America, would i just need to take the Nclex??

I am so excited that May really is just around the corner! I am halfway through OB(we are on the quarter system so most classes are 12 weeks with some being 10). So far I have an A in the class as I have made all A's on the test(97, 98, 96), and still have another exam and finals(and a presentation worth 5% and an ATI maternal newborn worth 5%).....Do any of you use ATI?

Winter will also pass very quickly as we have Thanksgiving break right between Fall/Winter qtr and then Christmas break. I also love all of my instructors. They are tough, but Im learning there is a reason our program is a top program in our area!

May 2013 here as well! I can't wait!!! I am in Peds and OB right now, our last semester is Med surge 2 and preceptor! I am having so much fun this semester! We do ATI as well, and i think it's 10% of our grade!

We are doing preceptorship selection right now.. anyone else? Which specialty are you choosing for your preceptorship?

We are finishing up Community & Home Health... Community Health has proven to be a bigger headache than I anticipated with all kinds of busy work. sigh... 12 more days till winter break!!! Yippeee! Of course I have to pass these classes first.. sigh... Good luck to all of you with the finals!

May 2013 ADN! A week away from ending our semester. Currently doing psych/neuro.

Peds/OB is done in the last semester of the 1st year. Since I bridged from LPN to RN program I didn't have to take it..although I would have loved to do it again...I want to do peds when I graduate.

2 weeks, 3 tests and 1 quiz left of 3rd semester for me! I can't wait! this semester has been horrible. 1 more semester and I'm done, YAY!!!

We just started Winter Qtr (peds). I ended up with an A last qtr (OB). 1 more quarter after this!! As for preceptorship, we can choose our preceptor, but can't choose a specialty unless we score high enough on the ATI predictor exam in our last qtr. We shall see!

May 2013 for me. This semester we had peds and psych. I only have two finals, ATI, and I get to start Christmas break! Next semster is Med/Surg IV, community nursing, and hospice.

I graduate May 8th 2013!!!!!! I'm doing my preceptorship, starting in Jan, on the CVICU managed by Duke!!! So excited we take finals next week for this semester! This semester we had med/Surg And critical care and Peds. Next semester Is preceptorship and psych and a trip to the UNC hospital burn center to receive a lecture from one of the physicians there!
