Class of 2013 anyone?

Are you graduating in May or June, 2013? We have 7-8 more months to go! I would love to get a thread going to see how many of us are 'here' and see if we can keep each other encouraged till we see the finish line! We are almost there!

May 13! In Peds, Med/Surg, Pharm, and Clinical. Have OB and OB clinical in a couple of months. Good luck, everyone!

We ordered our pins and my credits were audited. I am all set just need to pass the next 10 weeks!!! It is starting to feel so real.

We ordered our pins and lamps too! About 2 weeks ago! We also ordered our caps, gowns, and diploma covers!!!! I will be getting my honor stole and cords from Phi Theta Kappa and National Technical Honor Society soon! It's so real! 9 weeks to go!!!

studentnurseCT & PatMac10,SN congrats to both of you! I haven't ordered my pin yet but just received my cap & gown last week! Woohoo!! Our cohort finished our final exam on Wednesday and my last clinical day today prior to starting our capstone and practicum next week. Best of luck to you all for the next few months toward the finish line! We are almost there!!! I am just curious how the job market for new grads look like in the areas you all live. Take care! 9 more weeks!!! :)

The job market is pretty good here in Rural NC. For both ADN and BSN new grads. 50% of our class already have job offers, we start interviewing for most hospitals towards the middle or end of March. The past 10 years our school has had between 85% to 100% Job placement within 4 months after graduation. Most have secured job offers before graduation. I've had an offer in the CVICU where I did preceptorship and in the ER at the same hospital.

We just ordered our pins. PatMac where do you live in NC? Most of our class just started applying. I've had 1 interview, and hoping I get an offer before graduation. I talked to a girl from the class that just graduated Tuesday and she said everyone in the class has a job offer, so seems pretty decent here.

The job market is tough in CT especially if you don't have a BSN. I have tons of medical experience so I am hoping that works in my favor.

11 weeks from yesterday till Commencement (May 17th)! Filled out our forms for cap and gown sizes a couple of weeks ago!
