Christmas Break!!!

I am seriously over here doing every dance I can think of! Today is the last day before Christmas Break begins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so not ready for Christmas but I am anxiously awaiting the break.

Ah yes, Christmas Break. Saturday… slept! Sunday… pedicure with my daughter. Monday… shopping for gifts for 21 family members.

Today, car oil change, CostCo shopping for food. Don't hate me too much. Everything still needs to be wrapped and have to knot up 5 strands of pearls and finish a quilt. Gifts are mostly books, socks and jammas. If I keep this up, I'll be known as Grandma Pajama :)

Walked in to the beautiful Chamber Singers in the main hallway, singing carols. Last year's seniors here as well!

They just piled in to my office and gave me a chorus of Jingle Bells.

I may just cry.

Finally our last day! Kids dismissed at noon, I can leave at 1pm. Can't imagine I'll be too busy unless someone takes a candy cane to the eye. I'll probably just De-Christmas my room so I don't have to do it when I get back!

ahh - last day before break. Now, may my diabetics make sensible choices during class parties and not come down with huge plates full of random carbs and expect me to calculate off the top of my head in 30 seconds. May the child that was diagnosed with rotavirus earlier in the week please, please please keep it to themselves while they are home. May the children remember that this is by and large a day of fun - the sing-a long is happening later on. Lets all make it a nice day...
