Colleen McMurphy from China Beachshe enlisted as a nurse during the Vietnam war to make a difference. That's what we all want to do as a nurse.
she faced some of the toughest things to see and was unable to save all, yet she wole
up and kept doing it again and again.
she always showed compassion for the people she treated.
This. I had an insane Nurse Crush on her. She was incredibly compassionate and a GOOD NURSE, but also flawed. Love her.
Plus, Good Lord, Dana Delaney is beautiful.
Actually, it's not a nurse, it's a doctor...patch Adams. I strive to be like him on a daily basis. He always wanted to treat the person, not the disease. He helped people heal through laughter. He remembered his patients names and not their room number. This is the nurse I strive to be and why he is my all time favorite medical character (although it's a true story).
Carla from Scrubs! She is who inspired me to get into nursing, and even though I don't work in a hospital I use her as my inspiration. I love that she commanded respect from anyone she came in contact with. She deserved every ounce she got, too. She knew her floor inside and out and the doctors trusted her. She also ran her relationship and took care of her mother and was just overall awesome at the balance of nurse life and home life.

My fav nurse was Nurse Abby from ER. She was a awesome, kind, tough, dry humor nurse who aimed to be a doctor and became one, at an age that most people would say is too old to go into medicine. I applaud her
