Chemeketa Kaplan 2020

Hello all, once again I have applied to Chemeketa's nursing program. This is my second attempt at getting into nursing school and I was just curious what everyone is studying for the Kaplan again. Last year I got 42/50 and made it on the alternate list but this year I am trying to study starting now rather than waiting until last minute. Thanks for any advice anyone can provide ?

I just emailed and asked Connie if they’re accepting 40 or 48 students

Thank you!

I’m so excited! But I’m also still so nervous! Letters can’t come soon enough!

I have a friend who is in the program and said first year students(second year in fall) were told fall would be online as well. So I’m guessing it will be the same For the incoming cohort ?

Ahh that’s so crazy to imagine!!

I’m curious to those who have previously applied. Have you ever had a points discrepancy? I Personally haven’t but I’m wondering how often it happens.

I’ve applied 3 times and haven’t had one yet. I’m hoping if they do, it’s a simple one that’s easily fixed. I’m wondering if they see more issues from transfer students?

This is my first time applying and I’m a transfer student. My points were correct! I’m so interested to hear how many students they’ll let in and how many points down will still be accepted. It’s going to be a long few weeks!

That’s good to hear. They take a lot of time to figure out everyone’s scoresheet so I’m confident they don’t mess up often.

I just got an email! I’m guessing acceptance/regret/alternate letters will be sent out by the end of next week

For reference on how last year went: score sheets were posted on April 18th and the deadline to report a possible discrepancy was April 25th. Then acceptance/regret/alternate were sent out on May 6th!

I heard today that people have until June 9 to dispute any points.

That is correct! I just wanted people to know it took almost 3 weeks last year after score sheets were out ?

I hope they do it faster this years since those that are accepted will have so much to get done. ?
