Chemeketa Kaplan 2020

Hello all, once again I have applied to Chemeketa's nursing program. This is my second attempt at getting into nursing school and I was just curious what everyone is studying for the Kaplan again. Last year I got 42/50 and made it on the alternate list but this year I am trying to study starting now rather than waiting until last minute. Thanks for any advice anyone can provide ?

Has anyone been accepted from the waitlist yet?

Not yet for me. I’m alternate #6.

Before everyone forgets about this thread.. those who got in this year. Advice/tips/study tools to get ready for the Kaplan?? I’m determined to get in next year and need all of the study info and tools I can use.

Hi Kyla! I found Youtube videos to be the best resource. There’s a youtuber Tara Prieve who goes over the Kaplan test and recommends quizlets that are soooo helpful for the test, especially the science portion. I bought the SAT prep pack for the writing portion and I think that was the only helpful resource I found for writing. Definitely get this Kaplan prep book

and do the online practice tests and join the facebook group!
I didn’t get in last year with my score of an 84% and this year I got a 91% just by using the above resources! I hope that helps and good luck! You’ll definitely get in next year! Also, I started studying about three months before the test this year. ❤️
