Chemeketa Kaplan 2020

Hello all, once again I have applied to Chemeketa's nursing program. This is my second attempt at getting into nursing school and I was just curious what everyone is studying for the Kaplan again. Last year I got 42/50 and made it on the alternate list but this year I am trying to study starting now rather than waiting until last minute. Thanks for any advice anyone can provide ?

I take it Thursday which I think is the last day to test- there is some serious high scores out there! Good job!

shoot me straight. I received an 82% on the Kaplan. Not at all the grade I was hoping for. My total points are 327/335. Do I even have a chance on making it into the nursing program this year?

You never know. This has been a weird Spring for all of us, isolation and all. I wouldn't give up yet.

Last year I think I had an 84%, I was alternate 8 once they took 40 instead of 48 students. I had eventually moved up to alternate 4. So there is hope but it's a small chance.

Does anyone know when they will put scoresheets out? I know they said mid-late June for results but I’m wondering if they plan to do scoresheets next week now that all of the exams are done.

What I’ve seen from the past few years is it can vary greatly. Depending on how many they admit I’ve seen people missing 5/6 points get in and not on the waitlist. I’ve also seen people missing 10 get waitlisted. If you search past years on this site you can see different answers

I'm hoping that now all the exams are done (either today or tomorrow, I'm not sure if they're testing tomorrow!) they'll be sending them out next week. From what I can tell, there is a period of time given to appeal your scoresheet if something is wrong, so I would think that after that point is when they can officially send out admission emails. With that being said, I haven't heard an exact answer!

I believe we are given a week, so I’m hoping they are quick to send them out. The wait is brutal.

They should be sent out via email, but I think you can also access it under your personal information on your MyChemeketa page.

They send you an email saying they are ready to be viewed in your mychemeketa account. I’m still going to check daily starting Monday since the exams are over. Good luck everyone.
