Dropped off my application this morning. They didn't say anything about having to do it online. I'm guessing they prefer you to do it that way now but are still accepting applications in person too.

Just as everyone else has said, they did say that the applicants would be notified by March 25th.

Good luck to us all!

Mailed mine in yesterday, as i am not in louisiana right now. Did the online app. and emailed my hesi and self assesment. I mailed in copies of my other official transcripts along with extra copies of my hesi scores ,self assesment and course descriptions. I sure do hope I got everything. Depending on how they figure my GPA I think I have a score of 75 or 80.

I calculated my profile score and I have a 70 but I haven’t completed A&P II and the lab yet. I’m completing them over the summer because I’m finishing my Master of Public Health currently 🙂 I read past threads and it seems like 65 is the cutoff. I really hope so, and hope we all get in!!!

It seems like a lot of people here have some really good profile scores!

Does anyone know how they figure the GPA? Is it just the classes listed on the curriculum (which is how it seems in the bulletin) or overall?

Yes, they just use the classes for the pre-reqs, not your overall gpa.

Thanks! It looks like they count the lab for anatomy and physiology as a seperate class? So do they calculate it that way?

The school I took it at included the lab component and totaled 4 credit hours. It looks like its still 4 credit hours at Delgado but 3 are lecture and 1 is lab? I think at this point I am obsessing and over analyzing it too much. March is a looong way off. Also i didnt realize that general biology for science majors was required as a prerequisite for A&P. I did take it, but didnt send it in with my course descriptions. Is anyone else applying from a different school?

I took all of my prereqs at Delgado and haven’t been to any other schools, so I’m not too sure about other transcripts.

I wouldn’t think you would have to worry about not including the General Bio with your Transcript, because it’s not on the list of required courses (even though it’s a prerequisite for A&P). I would email Ms. Thornton and ask though, just to be on the safe side.

Yes, the end of March is sooo far away! I’m curious what the cut-off score will be this time. It’s seems like the few people on this forum have some really good scores. I calculated mine at a 70, and praying I’ll make the cut!

In regards to college transcripts, did anyone hand deliver their transcript when they applied? I had a transcript sent to my house and I just now realized the instructions say to have it delivered to the school directly.
