Charity School of Nursing Fall 2019

Hey, just wanted to create this forum for people that are going to apply to Charity for Fall 2019. That's when I feel I will be ready to apply! I'm still working on my prereqs!

Do y'all know if we have to turn the application in person or do the one online? I know it says to download the application and type it up and then turn it in, but now the application link shows a electronic version with no way to download it like it had in the past.

In person. But I do believe I read somewhere that you can mail it. But just make sure you mail it with enough time to spare. I think your better off just going and turning it in yourself. They are super fast with getting all your information checked in so you shouldn’t be there long.

So what is everyone profile scores? I know someone that got accepted for the spring term and she told me she heard the cut off was a 60. I have a 75 so I hope that’s enough!

I calculated mine to be an 85. I feel pretty good about that score but I'm still feel anxious about it. The cut-off score is different each applicant period because it depends on the average score of people applying but 60-70 seems to be the avg. cut-off score from what I've read on here.

I called yesterday and was told that the applications are to be submitted strictly online now. Has anyone else been told this?

Just dropped my application off.. March 25th is going feel like a lifetime? Good luck y’all!

Nurse2b, where did you hear the March 25th date?

Did you drop off your application on the 15th? Because now they are saying that everything should be submitted strictly online. Kind of frustrating because there's no way of knowing if they received everything they need.

85 is an awesome score btw, you'll get in, no doubt!

I have a 70. ?

Hmm that seems strange. I did notice an online application popped up a few days ago but I decided to personally hand it in since the bulletin stated to mail or hand it in. If You can I would try to hand it in personally because they go through it and make sure you have everything. also they give you a applicant packet receipt. At the bottom of the receipt it says, “All applicants will receive a letter and email with the decision by March 25 “

Hope you get in too!

I dropped my application off. No one told me anything about a electronic app.

yay! Good luck everyone. I am excited and anxious. March 25th feels like forever away. I was reading the forum for the people applying last fall. They were told their decision date was April 13th and they actually ended up finding out a little sooner.

I calculated an 80 for my profile score.

What day did you drop it off? They told me today that everything was to submitted strictly online now..

It seems better to do it in person, because then you know for sure that they received everything they need. And you cant even print out the application now after they changed it.. I submitted the app online and you don't get any kind of notification saying they received it or anything. I'm going over there Monday and make sure they have everything I submitted, its impossible to get any straight answers through emailing them.

Wow! That’s crazy. I dropped my app off on the 15th around 10am. I rather give it to them in person because they could go through all your paper work right in front of you and tell you what you need/missing.

Yea, it's definitely better being able to drop it off, especially since there is no receipt or any reply back saying they received everything. I'm going there Monday for sure.
