Hey, just wanted to create this forum for people that are going to apply to Charity for Fall 2019. That's when I feel I will be ready to apply! I'm still working on my prereqs!

Right here with you! I really should have applied this summer for the spring semester, because I totally read the program info wrong, but thats okay! I will just be all stocked up on my prereqs and be ready to go for it come fall next year!
Better late than never right?! Lol I'm so glad you joined my thread. Where are you taking classes now? I recently read that Delgado bridged with LSU so you can complete the BSN quicker which a huge plus! @katiegrass
I'm at Delgado. In the home stretch of a super stressful summer session and looking forward to a mini break before fall starts up!
@Rowing2RN Where are you taking your prereqs? Are you in classes this summer? I took on way too much and I feel like I am dying.

I also will be starting Fall 2019! *fingers crossed*
I took a prerequisite this summer and I failed due to an personal emergency I couldn't keep up so I've had a set back. I was thinking about just applying to LSU nursing since you don't need all those extra courses @katiegrass

Hey everyone!
I am also applying to the nursing program in January. Fingers crossed for everyone!
Right now I have all my preqs done. I am just retaking A&P II because I haven't taken it in the last five years.
As of right now I have a profile score of 65 and I am taking the HESI at the end of the month.

I am also planning to apply! I thought about also applying to LSU health but they require a chemistry class that I don't have and would have to wait an entire year to apply. I've got everything for Delgado though, I'm nervous I hope it's not super competitive, I just estimated my assessment points and I'm at 65 (assuming I make at least an 85 on hesi) but that feels low, is it? have y'all taken hesi yet? I'm using a library book for the review, the content seems basic but idk how tricky the questions will be. I already have all of my prerequisites just taking college algebra now.

I'm applying in January too! I'm finishing up my A&P II lab and lecture right now, so with that I will have all my pre-reqs done! Taking the HESI in December! I applied to LSU but was denied. I feel like its all a game of numbers to get into nursing school. I think I have a better chance getting into charity based on their point system.
Nice! Yea it does feel like a game of numbers, I'm probably going to take the hesi in January, are you using the hesi admission assessment exam review book to study? I'm gonna try and talk to an advisor and see what they think. Ugh it's so stressful, I just want to know that I'm in a program.
