Chamberlain College- Phoenix

Published

hi everyone! i just discovered chamberlain college of nursing in phx,az and it seems like a pretty smooth entrance and acceptance process but i have a question. if your act/sat scores are good enough and above what they say the minimum is required, do you still have to take any sort of entrance test to get into the school? i read some about the a-2 test but i did not know if you have to take it if your sat scores are fine?... your information and advice is appreciated! thanks so much in advance!

I hate waiting!!

I have learned that with everything... PATIENCE is a VIRTUE!!! I have found that with patience, comes good things and that has been proven to me NUMEROUS times! Think about it... what happens if one makes a quick decision? It's not always a rational one, is it? When making quick decisions and being impatient, it usually results in irrational ones. So, thank the Lord for patience and its good rewards! :yeah:

You'll be just fine!

Thanks! I am definitely trying to be patient, it's very hard! I do know that the best thing will come from the committee's decision, so I just have to wait it out and be positive :)

My advice usually applies to everything in life. I know you will be just fine! Good Luck and maybe I'll see you around campus one day!!! Arre you having any courses transferred in?

Oh, I have about 4+ years of pre-req's under my belt, so I would enter the program and probably go straight into the nursing curriculum!

That's great, but you need to make sure you have the classes they require. See, I have two Associate's degrees, but I still had to take three pre-req classes while taking the first pre-nursing class. You can pull it up on their website and see which ones you need.

Good Luck!

Oh I know, I've spoken with my advisor and since I was pre-pharm before, I have almost everything except a stats class and it all transfers over! :)

THat's wonderful for you!!! See... No worries!

Hey Tonyac! So I just found out I have to wait til July 17. :( I just want to know, and I keep asking my advisor and she just keeps telling me not to worry and that I have good scores. So as soon as I know anything I'll let you know. And if you get any positive feedback let me know :) Have a great 4th!!

Hey! Good Luck!! I hope we both get in with no more waiting! :)

Hey AZamanda, what semester did you apply for? I'm thinking of applying for the Spring / March Session. I'm currently taking pre-reqs b/c I don't exactly know where I want to go (and the more I look the more confused I get!!!) I'm thinking ofjust applying to Chamberlain, finishing in 3 years and getting done quickly....... but something tells me not to do that! Ahh what do you think? How do you feel about Chamberlain?

Hi everyone! My name is Ashley, and TonyaC told me about this thread.....I applied for the October 26th semester start to Chamberlain and got accepted in the beginning of June. I hope those of you that are on "hold" for July 17th get in!! I am crossing my fingers for you!! I am a transfer student, so pretty much have all the Gen-ED classes done, so will start with nursing classes right away.

Anyone else applied for October and get accepted?

Has anyone heard of Fortis college? New to Phoenix

Thanks
