Celebrate Your Fall 2010 Acceptances Here!!!

Published

Im graduating in may with a BS in health sciences from Michigan State. The nursing program is extremely hard to get into here so I just decided to get a health related degree while there and then apply to other nursing programs when I graduated.

I applied to about 4 schools and I just got accepted into my first choice school so I dont even care about hearing from the rest of the schools I applied to. Im really excited/nervous and proud of myself because I got in on the first try:D. I also get to start off in the actual nursing courses and clinicals since I already have all the gen ed and pre req courses completed, which also cuts down the cost by $18,000!

What about you guys?

Yeah!!! I got accepted to the Spring 2011 Nursing Program in California!! YEAH!!! I am gonna party............hahaha.....

Thread-crasher! This is for FALL 2010 acceptees! Start your own!

:p

Hey everyone..just stumbled on this thread. I got my acceptance letter for fall June 16 for North Ga College and State University after being on the wait list for the second year. They pulled me off June 11 and I didn't get my letter till the 16 but when I saw the thick envelope in my mailbox I knew what it was..I couldn't believe it!! I have been trying forever! I actually had just been rejected from my 11th school the day before and gave up on fall semester! But I am SOOO excited and I have already ordered my uniform, done my physical, bought 2 tee-shirts with Nursing on them..hehe, have to show it off!!!! I am soooo excited and ready to start. I wanted to go ahead and buy the fundamentals book but they told me to wait...I am kinda worried though, b/c the books run around 700.00 and I have already spent close to 600.00. I just need to buy my shoes and my stethoscope and bp cuff and books then I am ready. Oh someone in the bookstore said to buy a suitcase for my books instead of a bookbag b/c the books are so heavy. Do any of you guys know what the best book transport would be? I think I might just have to go with a rolling suit case. Oh forgot to mention..my program is for my ASN. I have all my pre-reqs done for my BSN but didn't get into any BSN programs. But I don't care I am just so excited that I will be a RN in 2 yrs!!! YAYAYA!!! Congrats to everyone that's gotten accepted!!!

I got my acceptance letter from North Georgia on July 3, go figures, but I am gonna have to decline it because I was accepted in the West Ga and the program started this summer. The good thing about North GA is that its 30 mins away from me compared to West Ga which is 1.5 hours. The bad thing is that you have to get your ASN first at North Ga, where as West Ga I will have my BSN.

yeah, congrats. I didn't get into West Ga..so I am just happy to get in somewhere. I am actually kinda glad it happened the way it did. I mean, I was all set for my BSN but I live in cumming and will be going to the lanier tech campus for my 2 yrs. I live honestly 5 minutes from lanier tech/forsyth and my daughters daycare is actually right across the street..so I really believe GOD does work miracles and that it just wouldn't have worked out if I had to travel soooo far. But congrats on getting into West Ga I know its a great school!

Congrats to everyone! I go my acceptance letter for the ASN program that starts in August! I am so excited! I will have to drive about 50 mins but i will do anything to get my degree. :yeah:

]:) Hello everyone! This is my first post on this website, but reading all of your replies makes me so excited to start school August 16th!! :) I got my acceptance letter about three weeks ago!! At first I was an alternate and was bummed, but I received my OFFICIAL acceptance!! I celebrated by buying myself a Littmann stethoscope, which is also a little bit of a motivator to make it through the program!! I look forward to using this website through out my student nursing career & beyond! Congrats to everyone who will be starting in 2010!

Specializes in NICU.

I have been waiting a very long time to post on this thread again and now I can officially say that I have been accepted as a transfer into the Rutgers University College of Nursing (traditional BSN) class of 2013!! This has been such a long journey for me and I am honored to be one of the 20 accepted this year. :-D!

Congrats! I'm starting my clinicals at Caldwell College in the fall for their BSN program. Its been a long road getting to this point and while I was elated when I finally reveived my letter the anxiety I'm feeling now has taken over. I'm terrified. I don't really know what to expect and am terrified of failing and finding out I'm not cut out for this. I've heard so many horror stories about nursing school and about nurses hating their jobs. Is it all worth it? Someone tell me this is all just fear
