Cedars Sinai RN New Grad Residency Fall 2021 Cohort Application

Hello! 

I applied for the RN residency program this morning around 2 am because I heard it normally closes up fairly early, but it looks like it is still going! Does anyone know information on how the process normally goes? I got an internal referral, does that improve my chances at all? Thanks in advance!

Interviewed with the Advanced Heart Failure Unit today, took about 30 min. An Awesome Team. Hope to hear back soon, GL ?

I just got the reference steps email however mine mentioned "New Grad Registered Nurse Residency Program - February 2021 Cohort" and not the October cohort. Did anyone else have this issue?

Woah I just noticed that too. Hopefully it's just a typo!

Okay good I wanted to make sure it wasn't just me! ? Does anyone know how long our references have to complete the survey?

@csuf123 during the connectivity test he said you have 72 hours from receiving the email to complete it.

Has anyone from 6NE/6NW (surgical cardio/transplant SDU) already been emailed the reference survey email?

Forgot to update that I also got my reference email! Cannot wait to see when those offer emails start coming in! Good luck everyone, and especially good luck to those interviewing tomorrow! ?

True, it is a good sign EEEEEE !! ? !! So far they only asked for a minimum of 5 references. 2 must be supervisors/managers. no friends or family. they said "after completing the supervisors/managers, add peers, direct reports, or clients. Business references are preferred"

I received my rejection email this morning. I’m not sure how many people that was picked for Advance Heart Failure Unit, but last cohort I believe it was 6 candidates. I’m still glad that I had an interview with 97 other candidates. Not everyone will get a chance. Furthermore, Congratulations to those who were asked for references. You most likely are going to get offers.
